One day after school, “A school of fish “and I went on a bus called”Zero East” to go home. We had a tiring school day so both of us dozed off on the bus. After a ten-minutes ride; suddenly, we both woke up with surprise.

         The lights and the TVs were turned down. Apparently, the bus was in the bus terminal and waiting for the next driver. There were other passengers on the bus, too. Just like us, they were really confused about the situation because it really didn’t make any sense. In fact, the bus shouldn’t go in this route. It should take us though the Ming Bridge, then to Taipei Main Station. However, the bus turned right before the Bridge and went into the “Last Station”.

            As soon as we decided to leave the bus, the other driver appeared. He was really shocked when he saw us on the bus. Therefore he immediately said sorry to us and drove us home. We spent extra 30 minutes to get home. “A school of fish” and I felt it really funny and had a really unforgettable bus tour.

        I lived in Vancouver for a year. When I was in grade two in elementary school, my parents took me to a place I had never been to. It was Vancouver: the most beautiful city in Canada.

        The weather in Vancouver is cool in summer and cold in winter. I built snowman in the yard and played snow fight with my neighbors. However, when the snow began melting, it was so inconvenient that cause the traffic into a mess. The snow was not attractive anymore when it turned white into gray. However, snowing is still an interesting thing for me. Another great memory in Vancouver is that I went to the stadium and watched a NBA basketball game. It was Houston Rockets versus Vancouver Grizzlies. There were tons of people cheering for the Grizzlies. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies lost to the Rockets. But I enjoyed the atmosphere, the people and the players in the game, just like the slogan in NBA ad. I loved this game in Vancouver.

        Now, I still go to Vancouver once a year to visit my sister. There were so many sweet memories that every time I went there. I feel like going back home!

Moon Festival, one of the four crucial festivals for Chinese, is a great holiday for students like me. My classmates and I even call it “BBQ Festival”. In the picture, you can see how happy I was in the BBQ Festival.
The picture was taken in the last BBQ Festival. My friends and I went BBQing in the park besides the dan shui river which was the only place we were allowed to do that. We prepared lots of food to eat including the sausage you can see in the picture. I cooked the sausages all by myself and it was the first food I had cooked by myself ever. Therefore, I told my friend and he took a picture for me as a special memory.
Next year, even when we graduate; I wish we can go BBQing with the same people to celebrate Moon Festival.

     I had a dream that one day I could stand on the podium and teach English in my own way. In my dream, I became an English teacher that I really looked forward to being. I was full of passion and well-prepared before class. I hoped they could work as hard as me. However, my students didn’t do what I excepted. They slept in my class. To my anger, I walked to the students and woke them up. Suddenly, I woke up myself and I came back to the reality.                                                                                                                                                 I woke up and saw Mr. Duke doing the same thing in my dream. He was angry at me because I didn’t respect him. Then, I realized that sleeping in class is not a good step to become a great teacher.

       

         Yesterday was Tom’s birthday. Tom’s parent threw a party for Tom’s special day. All of Tom’s friends went to the party and they also brought Tom’s birthday presents. Tom was really happy when he was opening the presents he got. To his surprise, a puppy came out of the box. Tom’s parents knew that their son loved dogs so they gave him what he really wanted.

        After the party, Tom named the puppy Mike and took it for a walk with a leash on Mike. They went to the park and Tom unleashed Mike because they were playing Throw and Catch. Suddenly, Tom wanted to go to the bathroom and he left Mike and ran away. When he came back, he found only Mike’s leash without Mike! Tom was really frustrated and trying to find his dog around the park. Unfortunately, he couldn’t find it and went home for his parent’s help. On the way home, Tom thought it was the worst birthday he had.

        Things didn’t follow as he thought. To his amazement, he found that Tom was sitting in front of his house and waiting for Tom. Tom smiled. He rushed to Mike, hugged it tightly and said that it was his best birthday and birthday present ever.

       Karen is an animal-loving girl. She likes to take wild animals back to home because she thinks she can take good care of them. In fact, she just leaves them at home and lets her mother do the jobs. Last year, Karen saw a cute kitty in the playground beside her house. She decided to do the same thing as usual.

        When she came back home, her mother said, “Not again …” Karen knew what her mother meant and started to cry. “This time I would not leave it alone, I will…” Her mother gave in and said,”Fine, I won’t do the rest for you anymore.” Karen stopped crying and muttered” It always works!” Karen smiled cunningly. As time went by, Karen didn’t keep her promise. She put the kitty in the basement and never went down there. One day, she finally remembered the kitty when she saw ” Hello Kitty ” on TV. She rushed to the basement, wondering what had happened. When she opened the door, she was shocked. She saw not only her kitty, but also other cats. Karen realized that her kitty brought his family to the basement . They treated the basement like their home. Everything in the basement like the couch, lamp was a mess. At that moment, Karen realized her mother’s words.                                                                       As a result, Karen put the kitty’s family back to the playground. After the chaos, Karen become a nice girl, and she always followed what her mother said.                        

I was swimming with my sister, but she was swimming so fast that I couldn’t catch up with her. There were too many people swimming in the ocean so I got lost. At that time, I was pretty nervous and looking for my sister everywhere. I didn’t know that I was too tried to swim. Next moment, I couldn’t remember anything. When I opened my eyes, I was lying on the beach. My family were so happy to see me wake up. They told me that I was saved by a lifeguard because I was almost drowned into the water. My sister was crying and promised not to do that again. I couldn’t forget the accident till nowadays.
