Innocent Childhood Friend

November 1, 2007

Cha-Huan , is my elementary classmate. She had long hair and always wore her hair in two pigtails. She was pretty, especially with her baby fat. With her kind manners and polite attitude, she was my best friend at that time. She lived near my house, so we walked home from school frequently. At the age of seven or eight, there was nothing we couldn’t talk about with each other. For example, we discussed our classmates, teacher, foods and even cartoons for all day long. Talking to her was my favorite pastime.Time flew when we were having fun. When we went up to grade three, she had to move to Taichung because of her father’s work. Both of us were really sad about the part but we couldn’t do anything about it. At last, we said goodbye to each other in tears.Since then, I have lost contact with her, which makes me very guilty. This Christmas, however, I am going to send her a Christmas card, through which I hope to bring our childhood friendship to life.
